Baby layette born in the cold
A baby layette that is born in the cold is a little different from a baby layette that is born in the summer! Although in Brazil the last winters have been much weaker, it doesn't matter. We can't forget that inside the belly, babies stay warm and that's what they're used to when they're born! Of course, we also cannot ignore the place of birth, a very determining factor in choosing the clothes that the baby will wear in the first months of life!
In addition, it is essential to bear in mind the approximate date of birth, as it dictates
the necessary amount of clothing for a given season. For example, babies born in
March will wear little warm clothes and soon we will enter the cold. The August
babies will wear few winter pieces, as soon as summer begins! April babies will
need more warm clothes and October babies will need a lot of
fresh clothes to face the high temperatures!
For babies in the winter class, a good layette list has the following items:
6 Body manga longa
4 short sleeve bodysuit
3 thick overalls
3 knit jumpsuits
4 pajamas
4 wool coats
4 sweatpants
2 hooded jackets
6 long-sleeved t-shirts
6 pairs of socks
2 pairs of gloves (no split fingers)
2 hats or hats
2 thick blankets
1 cotton blanket
6 cloth diapers
6 mouth flanks
It is worth emphasizing that, with this amount of pieces,
it is possible to spend the first month of life. But soon it will be necessary
to increase the baby's trousseau, because in those first months, they grow very quickly,
lose clothes from one week to the next and need to be constantly “supplied”! Everything
noted? So, get to work, good luck and happy shopping! =)
